Wayne:
Well where do i begin, i suppose it was when i was really young i always wanted a magic set for Christmas. Eventually I got one and ever since then i have carried a deck of cards with me and played with them in every spare moment i have had.
When i got older i brought a few tricks of my own, after I had perfected them i began to show them to friends and family. After doing this for a few weeks I was hooked and could not stop learning new tricks and showing them to as many people as possible.
Now after 10 years of prefecting the art i have teamed up with my cousin to create a unique act. After preforming at many weddings and birthdays we have now produced an act which will be a memorable evening for any occasion. For years we have been producing routines that will leave many spectators speechless.
Craig:
Well for me, it all started when Wayne made four 10p’s disappear and then reappear as 1p’s. He then went on to show me what he called the clock trick. I was amazed and couldn’t beg him enough to show me just how they were done. It took weeks of persuasion but I finally bugged him enough to show me. He insisted that I told no one. This is where it began for me, I went home and practiced everything he told me until it was perfect. I then took a pack of cards to school and performed the clock trick to a few of my friends. They were amazed just like I was when I first saw it. They asked me to show them another trick but I didn’t know any.
This got me thinking, I wanted to know all different tricks to show everyone. I found a few books and learnt a few. I didn’t show anyone until I had seen Wayne to show him and see if he thought they were any good. Before I knew it, I was learning a few tricks everyday and practicing in any spare time I had. I then began to learn different tricks and perform them to my family and friends.
Magic Flush:
A couple of years on Wayne and Craig got thinking, they could put this skill together and make something.
They began by putting their ideas together and performing tricks to each other. They met every Sunday at a local club to discuss what they had learnt that week and helped each other improve their tricks. They were then asked by a family member to do a few tricks at his wedding. They saw this as the perfect practice session and to put their skill to the test, to see if they really could do anything with what they knew. It took a few weeks but they put a few routines together and brushed up on everything.
The night couldn’t have gone better, this gave them the confidence to get together and do this for real like they had dreamed of doing. They wrote down everything they knew and started to put routines together. They then changed what they could to make it comical so they were putting on a show rather than just showing tricks.
The next thing was thinking of a name. A few names came about but they didn’t quite fit. They finally came up with “Magic Flush”.
Magic Flush have been performing at all types of events over the last few years. They love nothing more than performing and entertaining. They are constantly updated their act with new routines.
